This review is from: Queen Size Sleigh Bed Louis Philippe Style in Cherry Finish This is an economical bed frame. The headboard and the seat board is made of "finger Joint Wood" (a finger joint piece is when they piece together different short cuts of wood to form a longer piece). The cherry stain covers most of the finger joints and you would not see it if you weren't paying too much attention. However, my concern is when the stain fades away, which most cetainly would over a period of time, depending on the amount of Ultar violet light that it gets, then they become apparent. assembly was easy and quick. However, one of the pieces were not joint together correctly so I had to make it work (lack of quality control and paying attention to details is by all likelihood the reason). If you pay around three hunder dollars or less, delivered, it probably is a good deal -- anything more, probably not.
